Dr. De la Haba-Rodríguez is the latest incorporation into the Scientific Advisory Board of innoHealth Group. Nowadays and with this new incoporation the company completes a solid scientific support and background in the Oncology, Immunology, Inflammation and Dermatological fields.
Juan De la Haba-Rodriguez MD, PhD is Medical Specialist of the Oncology Department at the University Hospital Reina Sofia in Cordoba, Spain. From 1988 to 1993, he did his medicine training in the University of Cordoba, following the oncology speciality in the University Hospital Reina Sofia in Cordoba (form 1995 to 1999). He obtained PhD degree during last year. After that, he became Professor in the Department of Medicine University of Cordoba and, also, he began operating as the Clinical Research Coordinator and Subcommittee Member of the Breast Cancer unit, integrating the clinical research activity of multidisciplinary collaboration (pharmacologists, surgeons, pathologists and biologists). Executive member of the Spanish cooperative group of breast cancer research (GEICAM) since 1999. From 2003, he is member of Spanish Process Implementation Group on Breast Cancer Care and he develops consultant activity in the CTS234 Andalusian research on the global development and innovation plan. Member CIBER Oncology Breast Cancer. From 2006, due to his deep knowledge in the early drug development, he joined the Cancer research unit in the Maimonides Institute for Biomedical Research of Cordoba (www.imibic.es) to get a major focus on translational clinical trials and correlative science. Dr. De la Haba develops a consultant activity in Oncology area and breast cancer for several pharmaceutical companies (Astra, Roche, Celgene, Novartis, Agendia, GGK, Sanofi) and he has patented small molecules and peptide compounds as a future biomarkers for therapeutic targets.
Currently, Dr. de la Haba-Rodríguez is advising and helping innoHealth to develop effective treatments to prevent and reduce the pathologies resulting from oncological techniques. These treatments are the result of the innoHealth`s research translated into R&D Projects in collaboration and cofunded by the Spanish Ministry.
